rivers here because it seeps right through the lime stone. The water collects
in these underground caves.
After we repelled, they put us on tubes so we could float around.
You may be wondering what this is a picture of...if you look really close, yes...those are bats. They are down in the
caves...I got pooped on...but from what I understand it's good luck.
We saw some spider monkey's while we were there...
This is the road we drove on...it's like a one way road...big enough forone car...only it's a two way road...very scary when a car comes from the other direction!!
behind me were in the group that went with us from Utah. Sandra, the
lady standing next to me was from Mexico. The four in front of me were
from Sweden. And the two in front were from Arizona. We had
an amazing time with this group. Not to mention this was one of
the most fun, adventurous day trips I have ever been on.
First we canoed across the lake...

Then, we geered up for the zip line...

Jim came zooming in and sent the Mayan guys running like bowling balls...
Meanwhile I hung out on the line waiting to be towed in because I stopped too soon.
